We also released Batch 1 for Treeverse today. We expect to invite a few hundred more people in batches over February. Just apply to this form.

Not much talk from me this time, just check everything out. See you next month. Let’s keep going.
Art Update
For the month of January, the art team is again focusing on content expansion. The team’s next milestone is to finish Slimy Swamp Flogen Isles and their respective dungeon maps within the zones. The production pipeline has slowly become more consistent, thus you will see some similar routine of concept art and 3d art work rotation in all future monthly art updates. For this month’s update we have some of the ancient ruin design, some NPC as well as character concept art and 3d models.
Engineering And Design
by Aizea
We released the development build this January and had a small user testing group during the middle of the month. Feedback was very positive, and we worked with the testers to fix some important bugs. The game should be relatively stable and has formed a really good base for the team to build out new features and content on top of.
Below are some of the stuff we worked on:
- Fix login page weird formatting issue of password
- Tab to move to next field as well
- Add support for Audio and various types of audio events
- Refactor interactable to use enableable components to determine if something can be interacted with
- Fix issues in magnitudes of movements in abilities
- Improve UX for dragging ability buttons
- Add XP bar at bottom of screen
- Add support for receiving quest items and updating quests when you receive those items
- Update energy and hp recovery to occur once a second instead of per tick
- Fix inventory preview issues
- Fix last stand bugs
- Add boss music
- Update receive item logic
- Unified to one place
- Fix enemy VFX issues
- Fix dungeon loading positions
- Fix inventory issues when garbage data is sent
- Add fail-safe for players falling through the ground
- Improve UI for abilities when out of energy
- Fix addressables issue in build
- Added debug tools for admin and users
- Fix blueprint size issue
- Add IFrame support
- Update monster aggression
- Settings page improvements
- Added FPS choice and Resolution dropdown
- We spent considerable time getting things ready on a real server and carrying out various tests and dev ops-related functionality
Going Forward
We are spending the next quarter on some important refactors of our code base. We have accumulated quite a lot of technical debt, and following these refactors we should have a much stronger and extensible base for items, abilities, conversations, dialogues and AI in game.
Alongside this we will also add more content to the game and experiment with new types of dungeons. Our plan is to keep updating the development build as often as we can, and allow our community to test the updates as we release them.

What a Team, what a game! So glad to be part of this community^^
Very much looking forward to it.
