We’ve officially launched Treeverse Season 2! Download it on all stores and check it out. The game is a massive improvement from last Season, read more here. The first big update will be Timeless integration and NFT store launch. It will be constantly updated from this point onwards and we will be introducing drop rates and challenges.

Engineering And Design
Design
The design team helped with getting Beta release out and then started working on our Beta to release roadmap. Whilst we have a good amount of functionality in the game already, our main problem at the moment lies in bringing it all together in a cohesive manner that is compelling. So we’re going to be bridging that gap between beta and release, focusing on a smaller game world, with richer content, better quest flow and improved user experience.
Engineering
After the release of the beta build, we found several issues that engineers worked on solving. The major issue was related to disconnections and restarting of the server which was solved within a few days. After that the servers have been running smoothly without crashes occurring.
There are still some transient issues here and there which will be ironed out over time.
Other than that, we continued working on the development branch of the game, fixing bugs and adding features.
Below is a short list of some other things we worked on
CICD changes to make dev/beta easier to manage
Working on the starting zone for official release
Adding new stats to the game including crit chance / rate
Implement improved skill casting UI / gizmo
Networking improvements
Skill panel bug fixes
Finish merging the storage feature
Improve the saving flow in the game
Started working on simple pvp game mode
Going Forward
Beta has been running quite smoothly, and we’re happy with all the videos and engagement we’ve seen about it. We’ve looked into and fixed some reports regarding the drop rates. These will be merged next week after some internal testing.
We also plan to introduce some challenges and drop rates for pets and mounts in the coming weeks as well which should give players something to grind for and play the game.
